ZACHYS is honored to present 400+ lots of the finest and rarest wines and spirits from the record-smashing The Ruby Collection Part IV on 8 th May in Hong Kong.
With a pre-sale estimate of HK$21m/US$2.85m, The Ruby Collection Part IV boasts a tailored selection of fine and rare wines such as First-Growth Bordeaux and Grand Cru Burgundy from benchmark vintages (Lots 1 – 415). Aged Scotch (Lots 416 – 426) and Japanese whiskies, particularly Karuizawa and Yamazaki (Lots 427 – 446) will also make a rare appearance on the auction block.

Mature vintage Champagne-like Dom Perignon Oenotheque Commande Speciale 1971, Cristal 1999, Krug 1995, Bollinger Vieilles Vignes Francaises Blanc de Noirs 1998, Salon 1996 and more hold a special place in the consignor’s cellar. The spotlight shines on 46 Lots of Masseto (Lots 88-134), probably the largest collection to come to the auction block in 2020!
An impressive 81 Lots of Burgundy follows with 37 Lots of DRC Romanée-Conti 1971 and 1978, La Tâche, Romanée-St-Vivant, Richebourg, Montrachet 1995 as well as a 12-bottle DRC Assortment Case 1999. The extremely rare Domaine Leroy Richebourg 1997 and Maison Leroy Ruchottes-Chambertin 1985 follows, along with an exquisite 3 magnums of Roumier Bonnes Mares 1999 and 5 bottles of Chambolle Musigny Les Amoureuses 2012. The collection continues with a selection of the consignor’s favourites from Domaine Leflaive.
From Bordeaux, First-Growths and rare legendary vintages such as Cheval Blanc 1982 (from 750ML to 6L), Haut- Brion 1989 (from 750ML to 6L), La Mission Haut Brion 1959 and 1961, Lafite 1959 (from 375ML to 6L), 1982 and 2000, Lafleur 1990 – 2010, Latour 1959, 1961, 1982 as well Le Pin 1982- 2004 should not be missed. We would be remiss to not mention the magnum of Margaux 1961, magnums of Mouton Rothschild 1961, the 12-bottles of 1986 as well as the collection of Pétrus 1961-2010.
